PRESS OPERATOR

We’re looking to hire an experienced Automatic Press Operator to join our ranks. 

Our print team is the backbone of our shop, and we’re looking to fill an important role. As a Press Operator, your job is to bring art to life. You’ll set up and run jobs with care and attention to detail, helping make each order something we’re proud to hand to a client.

Since you’re experienced, you understand this role takes focus and endurance. It keeps you on your toes and offers the immediate satisfaction of watching each print come to life. It’s not for everyone, so we’re looking for someone with a strong work ethic, a technical mindset, and a real passion for printmaking.

Requirements:

• Background in the screen print world with experience operating automatic press
• Communicate and collaborate effectively with team members
• Passion for print with eagerness to learn and constantly improve
• Ability to troubleshoot quickly and perform under pressure 
• Familiarity with water based and discharge printing
• High attention to detail
  

Responsibilities:

• Set up and execute production runs according to detailed specs
• Operate and maintain automatic presses and equipment
• Anticipate and quickly resolve issues that arise on press
• Coordinate with team to ensure quality and safety standards are met
• Maintain cleanliness of production area and equipment
• Assist in other aspects of production when needed
